Live Well

Live Well is a partnership across Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), Greater Manchester Integrated Care (NHS GM), the Greater Manchester voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise sector (VCFSE) sector, the 10 local authorities and communities across Greater Manchester. Live Well aims to support all communities by ensuring great everyday support is available across all neighbourhoods.

Early Family Help

Since 2021, Children’s Teams across GM have collaborated to understand how to create community-led models of Early Family Help (EFH). In 2023, the EFH Trailblazer programme was developed as a result of this collaboration, with four authorities, Salford, Stockport, Rochdale and Wigan, working on behalf of the ten to pay deep attention to understanding what it takes to create community-led preventative models of EFH in practice.

Living Well

Innovation Unit has been working in partnership with the ICB, Trusts, local authorities and the VCSE sector across Greater Manchester to radically improve mental health support. Together, we have been adopting the Living Well model and adapting it to nine localities across Greater Manchester. The model recognises that non-clinical factors can be significant causes of mental ill health, including poverty, poor housing, or struggling to access benefits.
