Greater Manchester Housing Provider’s Contribution to Live Well

Greater Manchester Housing Providers (GMHP) is a unique partnership of housing providers working together to make a positive difference to people and communities across Greater Manchester. This work has been developed by GMHP and their partners, as well as the Live Well and Ageing In Place Pathfinder teams at GMCA. It is owned by GMHP, alongside Live Well. It describes GMHP’s vision for growing consistent, community-led support in neighbourhoods. By doing so, GMHP are developing their contribution to Live Well.

In this document, we highlight promising community-led practice anchored by Housing Providers; articulate a robust case for growing these ways of working; describe our vision for GMHP’s extended contribution to Live Well; and highlight co-designed approaches for achieving this ambition. As part of future development of this work, GMHP will continue to explore and define how this work integrates with their wider strategic priorities and connects with other parts of the system.
